Vietnam: A Land of Opportunities for Lombardy Businesses

Milan, September 18 — The Vietnam–Italy Investment Connection Forum concluded at Palazzo Lombardia, following a successful event organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce in Italy under the patronage of the Lombardy Region. Hosted in the Biagi Hall, the forum brought together high-level institutional representatives and key players from the business and financial sectors of both countries.
Among the distinguished attendees were Vietnam’s Minister of Finance, Nguyen Van Thang, and Raffaele Cattaneo, Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Lombardy Region for International and European Relations. The event was also attended by Pham Thi Phuong, First Secretary of the Vietnamese Embassy; Valerio Salomone, Vice President of the Italy–Vietnam Chamber of Commerce; Walter Cavrenghi, Secretary General of the Chamber; as well as representatives from leading Vietnamese and Italian banks, state-owned and private enterprises, trade associations, and professional organizations.
The forum aimed to promote dialogue and create new opportunities for cooperation between Italy and Vietnam. With the participation of numerous companies from both countries, discussions focused in particular on strengthening trade ties and expanding financial collaboration, highlighting Vietnam’s growing potential as a strategic market for Lombardy businesses.
