Italy and Vietnam Strengthen Institutional Dialogue to Enhance International Cooperation



Rome, April 15 — An institutional meeting was held in Rome between representatives of Vietnam’s Ministry of Justice and Confprofessioni, with the aim of strengthening bilateral dialogue and exploring potential areas of cooperation between the two countries.


The Vietnamese delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Justice Luong Khoi Mai and included senior officials from key departments of the Ministry of Justice: Pham Quang Hieu, Director of the Information Technology Department; Nguyen Tan Cuong, Deputy Director of the Judicial Support Department; Dang Van Huy, Head of the Professional Affairs Division at the General Department of Civil Enforcement; Vu Hong Duong, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Civil Enforcement Department; and Nguyen Minh Hang, Head of the International Cooperation Department. The meeting was also attended by Nguyen Thu Ha, Embassy Counsellor of the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy.


Confprofessioni was represented by Marco Natali, President; Alessandro Cianfrone, CEO of Apri International; Walter Cavrenghi, President of Confprofessioni Piemonte; Carlo Girella, representative of the Research Center; and Diana Hlaic, Head of External Relations at Apri International.


During the meeting, participants discussed best practices, policy approaches, and potential synergies aimed at addressing common challenges in the legal and professional sectors. The dialogue highlighted the shared interest in fostering closer institutional cooperation and strengthening international relations between Italy and Vietnam.


The meeting confirmed the mutual commitment of both parties to continue constructive dialogue and to explore concrete initiatives that may contribute to sustainable cooperation and professional development.
