Two years after the entry into force of the European Union-Vietnam free trade agreement (EVFTA), the meeting provided an important opportunity to discuss economic issues central to the development of economic relations between the two Countries. There were many topics on the agenda, from a snapshot and analysis of the important channels and facilities for importing agri-food goods - such as seafood, coffee, and spices, to opportunities for foreign direct investment from and into the Country.

The aim of the representatives of Vietnamese enterprises in Italy is that the Forum can take place periodically and gather more and more consensus and participation, aiming at supporting and strengthening the areas of cooperation between the two countries.
